From Our President

Thank you for the privilege of serving as your president for the last two years. The end of my term is bittersweet – we should be able to achieve the “Striving for Best Practices” award, but one of my priority goals for this year was for membership growth. Not only did we not add but one student member, but we lost a very dear friend and loyal ABWA member in Joann Lansbarkis. We’ve enjoyed great business-relevant speakers and accomplished much throughout the year. I want to thank the board and committee chairs for your cooperation and dedication. I also want to thank each of the members because your hard work also contributed to our success. I know most of us are wearing more than one hat to achieve our successes – thank you. The camaraderie and dedication of the members to Illinois Heartland Chapter, I feel, is second to none! As we begin a new year, please support Nancy Reddick and her board as she begins planning for another great start for Illinois Heartland Chapter.
